Ken Palin
Ken participated in construction projects from the age of fourteen and has been in the construction business for 40+ years. As teenagers, his family owned a construction company building the town library. Their masonry company installed and repaired brick and concrete block buildings to start. As they grew, they were awarded the contract for the masonry work on ESPN’s very first building located one mile from his home in Bristol, CT. A few years later, his family opened a scaffolding company and started constructing, leasing, and selling scaffold all over New England, a perfect complement to masonry work.

As time went on, the company contracted to erect scaffolding and conducted masonry repairs at numerous churches, West Point Academy, Paul Newman's Restaurant, Phil Donahue's Estate and Yale University in New Haven, to name a few.

Ken relocated to Dallas and invested five years as a commercial project manager for FLOORWORKS and Southwest Industrial Surfaces installing concrete swimming pool coatings, concrete floor coatings in restaurants, manufacturing plants and airplane hangars etc.

Ken advanced over the next five years as a project manager for concrete and asphalt applications with Driveway Maintenance, a Commercial Paving Company. Ken struck out on his own in 1999 under the name of Facility Restoration and Construction Services, a commercial general contracting company bringing all his knowledge and experience under one roof.

The Grey Haired Guys® Contracting Company simply evolved and is growing nationally. Now a Registered Trademark, The Grey Haired Guys Contractors have Domains in 52 states, setting up an initial offering for other interested parties to share in our growth with a simple licensing agreement.

Ken's recent business venture:
